XLBookMe
Online appointment booking for small businesses
XLBookMe gives a small business its own booking page. Customers pick a service, choose a time the business is actually open, and book it themselves - and both sides get a confirmation.
XLBookMe is the booking software. Each business that uses it keeps its own booking page, its own services and hours, and its own customers; XLBookMe provides the technology that runs them.

How a booking works
- A business sets up its services and products, the hours it works, and how far ahead customers may book.
- XLBookMe publishes a booking page for that business at its own web address, and a QR code that opens it.
- A customer opens the page, chooses what they want, and sees only the times the business is genuinely free.
- The customer enters their details and confirms. The appointment is held immediately - there is nothing to wait for.
- The business sees the booking on its own calendar, and both sides receive a confirmation.
What XLBookMe does
Everything below is part of the service today.
- Services and products: a business lists what it offers, how long each takes and what it costs, and customers can book several items at once.
- Real availability: opening hours by day, several periods per day, minimum notice and how far ahead bookings are allowed.
- Self-service booking: customers choose a date and a time from what is actually free, and book without telephoning.
- Appointment management: the business sees its day, its week and a calendar, and can confirm, complete, reschedule or cancel.
- Customers: a record of who has booked, their contact details and their history with that business.
- Booking questions: a business can ask its own questions during booking, and the answers travel with the appointment.
- Confirmations: email confirmations to the customer and alerts to the business, with optional text or WhatsApp messages where the customer opts in.
- A public booking link and QR code: the business can print or share the code, and it opens its booking page.
- Appearance: each business chooses a light or dark booking page and its own accent colour.
- A welcome screen: a business can introduce itself and publish answers to common questions before the booking steps.
Who uses it
Small businesses that take appointments - cleaning, grooming, trades, salons, repairs and similar - use XLBookMe so their customers can book online instead of calling.
A business can run more than one business on one account, and each keeps its own booking page, services, hours and customers entirely separate.
Appointment messages
Every booking is confirmed by email. A business may also confirm by text message, and a customer may choose to receive those texts when they book.
Text messages are transactional: they are about an appointment that was booked. Opting in is optional, the box is never ticked in advance, and a booking can be completed without it. XLBookMe sends no marketing messages.
The complete opt-in, exactly as a customer sees it on the booking form, is published at /sms-opt-in.
Support
Questions about XLBookMe, a booking, or text messages go to support@xlbookme.com.
For an appointment with a particular business, that business's own contact details are published on its booking page.
